I have been blessed to show some beautiful examples of Maltese. These babies were bred by my good friend, Tammy Simon and they are owned by others, but I will forever be their "other" mother.

Ch. Ta-Jon's Whimsically Marlee

Whimsy, owned by my good friend Mary Lee Smiser, began her show career in Oklahoma City with a bang. How appropriate for a 4th of July weekend! At the age of 7 months, Whimsy earned her first 3 points and also won Best in Show Puppy. What a thrilling weekend for the both of us.

Throughout her career, she received many compliments from judges such as Judge Ray Bay, who said that she had the most beautiful movement.

Her first major (4 pts.) was won in St. Joseph, Missouri, under Thomas Carneal.

Whimsy's her show career also ended with a bang she earned a Group 2 in Grove under esteemed judge Carolyn Herbel.

Ta-Jon's Top Of The Morning To You

Toppa was bred by my good friend, Tammy Simon, and he most certainly owns my good friends, Jim and Denise Hunter of Cresson, TX. The Hunters and I met after many years of emailing each other . From a distance, they admired my beautiful Kate (Ch. Ta-Jon's Kay Sara Sara), and Denise mentioned to me that her dream was to own/show a Maltese that was as wonderful as Kate was -- and she would REALLY love a Ta-Jon dog. That dream came true for the Hunters in 2006 when they brought home their first show dog -- AND the great-great grandson of my Kate.
As Kate was, Toppa is everything a Maltese should be, all wrapped up in one tiny package. He has his great-great grandmother's coat, and her spunkiness in the ring, as well. He tips the scales at a little over 4 pounds. But he is a big man in the ring!

I was blessed to put Toppa's first point on him at the Toy Specialty in St. Louis, Missouri under Judge Roger Pritchard, and I also handled him to his first major in Ft. Worth, Texas.

Jim has taken over as Toppa's owner handler, and with Jim on the lead, Toppa has earned another 2 points toward that championship.

"How Beautiful" by Twila Paris

"How beautiful the hands that served
The wine and the bread and the sons of the earth
How beautiful the feet that walked
The long dusty road and the hill to the cross
How beautiful, how beautiful, how beautiful is the body of Christ"
